From natural hair care and styling to specialty hair services like perms, permanent weaves and up-dos, we make sure you look and feel your absolute best when we’re done. If you’re not smiling, we’re not satisfied!

The present salon, located in a historic landmarked building built in the 1800’s, has original hardwood floors, tin ceiling, and the stained glass windows from the farmhouse (on Rt.6). The building was once a grocery store, a hardware store, an ice cream parlor, and an auto parts store before it was remodeled for Shear Designs. With a total of 10 stations and two coloring stations, the current space combines historical embellishments with a contemporary charm that has become synonymous with Shear Designs.

In October 2014, Paula Karll became the new owner, establishing Shear Designs II, and continues to keep the rich history of the salon alive.
