WISHING YOU GOOD HEALTH

Greetings from Shear Designs II, our community is at the heart of everything we do. Our clients and team members are our top priority. We are committed to upholding our responsibilities in providing a safe environment for all of our Shear Designs II community family.

We are monitoring the news and information regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) as it relates to the beauty industry. We are, and have been, increasing sanitation and disinfecting routines beyond CDC guidelines with extra focus on high-touch and high-traffic areas. We will continue to monitor the health of our team, following the recommendations of the CDC and strictly enforcing a “stay-at-home” policy for anyone experiencing any symptoms.

We have always prioritized the cleanliness of our salon, and are committed to delivering the experience while making every effort to protect the well-being of our valued clients and team members. We will continue to closely monitor information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local governments for updated guidelines.

Safety Tips You Should Follow:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often, and for at least 20 seconds each time

  • Wash your hands when you get into work

  • Use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water are not available

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze (do not cough or sneeze into your hand)

  • Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

The safety of our clients and our team members is our top priority. That is why we want to make you aware of the steps we are taking to protect everyone’s health and safety. We will continue to follow a stringent infection prevention protocol. Some of the extra safety steps we are undertaking include:

  • Wiping the stations and chairs with anti-bacterial cleansing solution after each client.

  • Wiping down frequently used surfaces, such as countertops, door handles, tabletops etc. throughout the day.

  • Having hand sanitizer available throughout the salon for clients and staff.

  • Continuing to sanitize combs, brushes and other tools after each use.

  • Whenever possible, seating clients at every other station to create more distance.

  • Reminding our staff not to come in if they feel any indication of sickness.

  • We are also encouraging clients to reschedule appointments if they feel ill.

We will continue to update you on any additional guidelines from the CDC and other government agencies, as they relate to our business. In the meantime, please stay safe and thank you, for your confidence in our service.
